CUSTOM SOFTWARE

Custom software built for your business

Internal tools, customer portals and integrations for the parts of the operation that no off-the-shelf product fits. Scoped honestly, built directly, and maintained by the person who wrote it.

    WHAT IT DOES

The work starts with the spreadsheet. Almost every business has one or two files, or a shared inbox, holding a process that has outgrown them - the job board, the roster, the pricing model, the client register. That is usually the right first thing to build, because the requirements are already proven by daily use.

What gets built is deliberately narrow: an internal tool your team uses every day, a portal your customers log into, or an integration that makes two systems you already pay for behave as one. Small, specific, and finished.

Security is part of the build rather than a review at the end. Access control, data handling, auditability and least-privilege are decided while the schema is being written, which is where they are cheap.

You are told when not to build. If a product on the market covers eighty per cent of the need for a fraction of the cost, that is the recommendation, and the work becomes the integration around it instead.

    WHERE IT IS USED MOST

    WHAT IT COSTS

Custom work is quoted per project, after the scope is written down and agreed. That scope names what is included, what is explicitly not, and what would trigger a change in price - so there is no discovery invoice before you know the number.

Small internal tools are usually a fixed price. Anything larger is broken into stages that each deliver something usable, so you can stop after any stage and still have working software.
